Laelle Busch is a book and print artist living and working in Florence, Italy. She uses various techniques in bookbinding and printmaking to create one-of-a-kind, hand-bound albums, books, stationery and prints. She adds a personal touch to her creations and commissions through her frequent use of natural tones, color schemes, shapes and patterns. The connections forged and shared through the visual expression of her projects with her clients and viewers plays an important role in her creations.
Laelle was raised in West Lafayette, Indiana (USA) and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking from the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis (USA). She received continued book arts training at Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy, where she leads occasional bookmaking and printmaking workshops.
